Crime Report: DWI, Drug Possession in Huntington

Arrests made by Suffolk County Police Department officers from June 30 to July 8.

The following information is taken from the Suffolk County Police Department's crime blotter. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed below. A criminal charge is only an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. The following arrests were made between June 30 and July 8.

Arrests:

  • Joseph Nastasi, of Brightwaters, was arrested and charged with third degree assault with intent to cause injury in Huntington on July 8.
  • Daniel Haeseker, of East Northport, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated in Huntington on July 8. According to police, this was his first offense.
  • Evan Trenkner, of Huntington, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana in Greenlawn on July 7.
  • George Barret Jr., of Huntington, was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and intent to damage property in Huntington on July 6.
  • Wendy Nunez, of New York, was arrested and charged with third degree burglary and illegal entry with intent in Huntington on July 6.
  • Mary McCue, of Syosset, was arrested and charged with trespassing in Huntington on July 6.
  • Jason Knutson, of Huntington Bay, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs in Huntington Bay on July 6.
  • Vito Camardi, of Plainview, was arrested and charged with aggravated harassment in the second degree in Huntington on July 5.
  • Dominic Hardy, of Huntington Station, was arrested and charged with first degree robbery in Huntington Station on July 5.
  • Louis Tortora, of Huntington, was arrested and charged with operation of a motor vehicle while intoxicated in Huntington on July 4.
  • Christopher Burkett, of Sound Beach, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the second degree with a suspended license in Huntington on July 3.
  • Kevin Sperin, of Huntington Station, was arrested and charged with burglary in the third degree and illegal entry with intent in Huntington on July 3.
  • Kevin Smith, of Huntington, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree in Deer Park on July 2.
  • Santos Garcia, of Huntington, was arrested and charged with the criminal sale of a firearm in the third degree in Huntington on July 2.
  • Egbert Profitt, of Huntington Station, was arrested and charged with petit larceny as well as identity theft in the second degree in Central Islip on July 2.
  • Jennifer Manzano, of Huntington, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana in Huntington on July 1.
  • Joshua Stephens, of Huntington, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell in the fifth and seventh degrees in Huntington Station on July 1.
  • Cheryl Borden, of Huntington, was arrested and charged with petit larceny in Huntington Station on July 1.
  • Jamison Lasda, of Northport, was arrested and charged with burglary in the second degree in Huntington on June 30.
  • Havier Alfaro, of Huntington Station, was arrested and charged with assault with intent to cause physical injury in the third degree in Huntington on June 30.
  • Manpreet Rattu, of Huntington Station, was arrested and charged with robbery as well as first degree display of a firearm in Huntington on June 30.
  • Stacy Kovalenko, of Dix Hills, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance in its non-original container in Huntington on June 30.
  • Kwabena Agyeman, of Huntington, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree in Huntington Station on June 30.
  • Michael Tenzycki, of Huntington, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance in its non-original container in Huntington on June 30.
