Police are searching for individuals whom they say vandalized the outside wall of Shore 8 Movie Theater in Huntington last month.
Video surveillance cameras spotted three unknown male subjects walking around the theater on Wall Street in Huntington June 21. One of the subjects stopped, took a can of spray paint out of his backpack and spray painted the words “Moc”, “Scene” and “Risk” on the outer wall of the theater at 10:35 a.m., according to police.
Damage to the plaster on the rear wall of the building was also discovered, according to police.
No graffiti could be seen at the building Thursday.
A general manager at the downtown theater referred all requests for comment to the company's media relations department which did not respond to a message left by Patch at the main office Thursday.
A cash reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential, according to police.
