Car Crashes Into Pole

One-car accident Friday occurs on straight section of Pulaski Road; driver injured.

Police are investigating a one-car accident in Huntington Friday on Pulaski Road in Huntington Station.

Traveling East at about 2 p.m. on a straight section of street near the intersection of 3rd Avenue, the male driver veered onto the sidewalk and slammed into a utility pole Friday, according to police.

The driver was transported to Huntington Hospital with apparent neck injuries.

The cause of the accident is unknown.
