Car Crashes Into Dry Cleaners

No one injured as car goes through Huntington store's doors.

Two occupants of a Huntington dry cleaners escaped injury Monday when an SUV crashed into the store.

No one, including the driver, was hurt when the SUV came through the open double doors of , according to store owner Mike Plackis. He and a worker were in the store at 231 Wall St. when the accident happened.

Workers cleared away some of the frame of the doors to haul the SUV through a tight fit of the damaged doorway.

The doors and frames and some brick foundation were damaged but the large windows appeared untouched.
