Car Catches Fire on Park Avenue

Greenlawn Fire Department extinguishes blaze.

The Greenlawn Fire Department put out a fire that engulfed a car on Park Avenue Wednesday night.

The fire occurred about 7:30 p.m. in a car near Stillwell Street in Huntington, close to the Suffolk County Police Second Precinct stationhouse.

No further details were immediately available.
