Armed Men Rob Huntington Station Deli

Second armed robbery in two months in Huntington Station.

A Huntington Station deli was robbed by armed gunman early Thursday.

According to police, three men wearing masks and armed with handguns entered the Chapi Deli and Grocery, at 139 West Hills Rd., at approximately 5:40 a.m.

The assailants ordered three employees to the floor before fleeing with a safe through a rear door.

No injuries were reported, according to police.

The incident marks the second armed robbery in Huntington Station in two months.

In December,  and Stuff store, located at 1480A New York Ave. with an undetermined amount of cash and jewelry after forcing a store clerk to open a safe.

Anyone with information is asked to to call the 631-854-8252 or 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential, according to police.
