3 Hurt in Head-On Collision

Three people were injured in a head-on crash Friday night on New York Avenue and Wolf Hill Road in Huntington Station.
A Dodge Ram pickup truck towing a trailer and a Honda Pilot collided about 9:30 p.m.
The Melville Fire Department responded to the scene. The three people, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, were transported by the Melville rescue squad to Huntington Hospital and Plainview Hospital.
About 25 firefighters and rescue personnel were on the scene. Firefighters secured the vehicles and applied an absorbent for a fluid spill.
Suffolk Police and Emergency Service were also on the scene, and traffic was diverted until the wreckage could be cleared.
