Cops: Two Men Arrested For Selling Alcohol to Minors

Employees at two Huntington Station delis nabbed in police sting.

Cops say employees at two seperate delis in Huntington Station were caught selling alcohol to a minor during an underage alcohol operation.

On Friday, an underage volunteer agent with the Suffolk County Police Department entered 10 businesses in the Second Precinct with the intent to purchase alcohol as part of the sting after community complaints regarding some of the businesses, according to police. 

Arrested in the sting was Orlando Brisita, 45, an employee of Mishael Deli & Grocery located at 1454 New York Ave; and Felix Tavares Ramirez, 45, a worker at Compruebe Deli, located at 1415 New York Ave. Each each charges with first degree unlawfully dealing with a child, according to police.

Brisita and Ramirez, each of Huntington Station, were issued appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip on Aug. 7.

The New York State Liquor Authority will be notified of the incident, according to police.
