It's Nichols and Wong
Peter Nichols and Vivienne Wong have been selected to face both Republicans and Democrats for Huntington town board.
The Suffolk County Libertarian Party has selected Vivienne Wong to run alongside me for Huntington town board.
In addition to the Libertarian endorsement, Ms. Wong has produced enough signatures to force a primary against Republican candidates Herb Morrow and Gene Cook.
Two years ago when I ran for town supervisor, the signatures that were gathered by the Libertarian party for me were challenged by the Huntington Republican Committee, headed by Toni Tepe, who is still in charge. Unfortunately, Ms. Tepe and attorney David Reilly were successful in preventing me from obtaining the Libertarian line on the ballot. It was never clear to me why they were so afraid of a 3rd party that had such a minimal presence in Huntington.

Hopefully, this time around, registered Republicans will not be denied the right to vote in a primary this September and that Ms. Tepe and Mr. Reilly will not engage in similar litigation.
