Timothy Patrick Rooney Dies

Former Huntington resident was 59.

Timothy Patrick Rooney, a former Huntington resident, died Monday in Florida.

He was 59.
 
Rooney was born in New York City, and lived in Vero Beach for the past 8 years.

 A 1972 graduate of Cold Spring Harbor High School, he lived in Huntington until 1987.
 
 He was a carpenter for more than 25 years and recently owned and operated "At Your Service" in Vero Beach. He was a member of the NRA, a Yankees fan and a lifelong conservationist.

He was the fiance of Joelle Brajon, son of Alice Rooney, brother of Hilarie (Jim Bohrer), and Alison (Daniel Wolfe), brother of Thomas (Susan), and Terence (Tove).

He is also survived by his dear aunts Virginia Anselmini and Eleanor Anselmini, many cousins and friends. Visitation will be from noon to 1p.m. on Saturday with a chapel service at 1 p.m. at Aycock Funeral Home, Stuart, Fla.
