Funeral services were held Thursday for John Ambrosio, who was 81.
The Huntington resident died Sunday.
He was the former owner of Ambrosio Paving Company, which paved many of the roads throughout Huntington and Lloyd Harbor.
He was married to Rita, and was the father of Arleen Peckham (Les), Kim Stevens, Christine Brunswick (Damian). He was also the grandfather of John, Alex, the late John Peckham, Stephanie, Alexandra and Damian Jr.
The funeral was held at St. Patrick's Church, followed by burial at the church cemetery.
