Huntington Hospital Raising Funds for Equipment

Annual Oheka Castle gala will aid mammography system.

's annual gala is scheduled for Dec. 6 at Oheka Castle, with a goal of raising funds for a mammography system.

Meantime, an auto raffle is underway, raising money for a cardiac monitoring station for the hospital's emergency department.

With the theme, Journey to Africa, the Dec.6 event will honor Christopher Mitchell and Marshs of Huntington. Tickets for the black-tie event are $350.

The cardiac-unit raffle is going on now, with tickets available from the cashier in the main lobby. Tickets are $25 each, $50 for three or $100 for nine. Credit-card purchases can also be made by calling 631-470-5201.

The prize, donated by Jaguar Huntingon, Land Rover Huntington and Volvoville Huntington, is a two-year lease for one of the vehicles or $10,000 in cash.

The winner will be announced at the drawing Oct.10 at Jaguar/Land Rover Huntington but doesn't need to be present to win.
