"Marley": The Cinema Arts Centre presents "Marley," a film which explores the definitive life story of Bob Marley, the musician, revolutionary and legend, from his early days to his rise to international superstardom. Special guest speaker: reggae expert Beth Davis. Admission $10 for members and $15 for general public. Showtimes 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Details

2. Natalia Zuckerman: With influences that include folk, jazz, blues, rock, bluegrass, country and classical, Natalia Zukerman combines her slide guitar playing style with seductive vocals at Thursday as part of the Summer Arts Festival. Admission is free. Show starts at 8:30 p.m.

3. Ghost Stories of Long Island: Enjoy ghost stories by author Kerriann Flanagan Brosky. Brosky will discuss various local ghostly haunts and read select passages from her book, "Ghosts of Long Island; Stories of the Paranormal" and "Ghosts of Long Island II: More Stories of the Paranormal." The event runs Thursday at 7 p.m. at the South Huntington Public Library. Admission is free.

4. JD & the Straight Shot Hosts Concert to Benefit the Lustgarten Foundation: JD & The Straight Shot will host a  for The Lustgarten Foundation to benefit pancreatic cancer research aimed at early detection, better treatments, and ultimately, a cure. 7 p.m. Admission is $10.

5. Stand Up Paddle Board Racing: Peter Johnson invites intermediate to advanced paddler's to race along  at 6 p.m. Thursday.
