Wednesday, Oct. 10, 7pm
Bison: An American Icon with Patrick Thomas, PhD of the Wildlife Conservation Society
Learn the history of the American bison, and the current conservatio efforts.
Wednesday, Nov. 14, 7 p.m.
A Birds Eye View: How Birds See the World with Robert Fergus, Ph.D.
Fergus will review the latest research on bird vision and how birds use their senses to perceive and interact with their world.
Wednesday, Dec. 12, 7 p.m.
Sea Dragons: Predators of the Prehistoric Oceans with Richard Ellis
Ellis, author of the book, "Sea Dragons, predators of the prehistoric oceans," will review the Mesozoic era to resurrect the fascinating lives of these giant sea reptiles.
Talks are held at the Cold Spring Harbor Library at 95 Harbor Road (Route 25A), Cold Spring Harbor. All programs are free.
