As a tour guide in a famous historic home, I encounter many different people from interesting walks of life. Some have great tales of Long Island's past, and some folks are just of the moment enjoying our time together. I speak of the souls that have passed through the mansion as part of our tour.
When visitors teach me something new pertaining to the house, it energizes me. Sometimes they'll tell me about the garden or why an architectural style was used during a time period etc. Last week, I was unprepared for what one guest showed me. She took a photo looking into the garden area to capture the sunset. A figure can be seen walking toward her. See for yourself on the right hand side of the photo.
Now I've seen pictures with "orbs". Not buying. Some photographers claim to show me an entity somewhere in the background. Not seeing it. But this one seemed clear, not a reflection in the glass, as it appeared translucent.

Having been up and down the hallways and stairwells (including a tunnel) of this amazing house, I have never felt it to have "ghosts" per se. I do admit however, to the wonderful feeling I get when I'm absorbed with the spirits of the past that had long ago danced the Charleston and indulged in champagne in the ballroom.
