Undefeated Huntington football hosts Sayville on Saturday
The Huntington High School football team will host three-time defending Suffolk champion Sayville on Saturday at Blue Devil Field at 2:30 p.m. Admission is free.
Huntington is 3-0 this season, after coming from behind to top Amityville, 27-12. Sayville is 1-2 after losing a thriller to Westhampton Beach, 35-34.
The Blue Devils are closing in on their 400th victory in program history. Huntington started playing official games in 1924. Since then it has compiled a record of 395-282-30.
"Sayville has great players and coaches," Blue Devil head coach Steve Muller said. "We have the utmost respect for them. It's going to be a great game. We will come ready to play."
