Huntington Class of 1973 Plans 40th Reunion on October 5

Huntington High School’s Class of 1973 will celebrate its 40th reunion on Saturday, October 5 at the Head of the Bay Club in Huntington from 7-11 p.m.

The evening will feature a cocktail hour, hors d’oeuvres, buffet dinner, dessert, music and dancing, plus “your favorite high school classmates,” according to flyer for the event. The reunion committee includes Class of 1973 members Janine Argiriou, Susan Widerman Blog, Rena Shectman, Glenn Gordon, Lisa Gordon, Susan Welch Perissi and Elisa Sacca.

Alums will get together Friday night for a meet-and-greet on the outdoor patio overlooking Huntington Harbor at Prime Restaurant on New York Avenue in Halesite. There will be a cash bar. Saturday will feature a tour of Huntington High School and a gathering at the Blue Devil’s 2:30 p.m. football game.
