Schein Employees Spread Christmas Cheer

Hundreds of kids get gifts as part of company program.

Employees of Henry Schein Inc. put on a Christmas party recently for 605 kids recently, providing  dinner, chocolate fountain, cotton candy machine, Santa and Mrs. Claus, music and other games and festivities.

Employees contribute their own time and money to sponsor children through the Holiday Cheer for Children program to ensure that each child's holiday wishes come true.

"Words fail to express how much this program means to our families, many of whom face some of the toughest challenges during the holidays," said Linda Buczynski, co-coordinator, parent partner of the Family Support Services Program, Pederson-Krag, based on Long Island. "The success of Henry Schein's Holiday Cheer for Children program is shown on the children's faces as they open the gifts that they wished for."

The Holiday Cheer for Children is a flagship program of Henry Schein Cares, the corporate social responsibility program of HenrySchein, Inc. and is in its 15th year, with parties held at Schein sites around the country.
