Summer Scene in the Village

Huntington Village remains busy in early evening.

The pleasant weather means plenty of people are out enjoying Huntington Village in the early evenings.

A walk along the busy sidewalks of New York Avenue and Elm and Main Streets found strolling families, a police officer on his beat, teenagers, a musician and many more people.

With the weather forecast to stay comfortably warm for the next few days, the crowds are expected to continue in the final week before schools reopen.

Huntington is certainly a great place to walk around in the evening---but not tonight!! The construction on Main Street began today and resulted in horrible noise, tons of traffic backups, and angry drivers honking horns. Any idea what they're actually doing and how long it will continue? We just want to enjoy the weather and peaceful atmosphere of the town for a few more nights!
