VFW-Rotary Club Sponsor Blood Drive

The Rotary Club of Huntington Station is partnering with the Veterans of Foreign Wars to hold a blood drive at the VFW Post 1469, 210 West Pulaski Road, Huntington Station on Saturday from 10am to 4pm.

The severe winter caused the cancellation of many of the scheduled drives, lowering the blood products needed by area hospitals.  The objective of this drive is to have area residents become donors and donate at least twice a year.

Rotary is an organization that provides service to the community and the Veterans of Foreign Wars are made up of men and women who have been in combat and because of their hazardous duty, they know the life-saving need for blood.
