Indulge in the culinary creations of some of Long Island's finest chefs as wineries, brewers and importers offer a selection of varieties and vintages to complement food choices at the Melville Lions wine and food event from 6 to 1o p.m. Thursday, May 19, at Oheka Castle.
The wine auction is noted for offering desirable vintages at exceptional value. Bidders can seek individual bottles, cases or compete for assembled lots of varied selections.
The auction starts at 8:30 p.m. and closes at 10 p.m.

In addition to the wine auction, the evening also will feature a free wine glass, free photo portrait, door prize and raffles.

Tickets cost $95 per person and are available through the Lions web site or from club members, until the day of the event; a table for 10 is $1,200.
