Chamber of Commerce "Cash Mob" at Bottles and Cases

Here's a great summer savings secret from the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce....With summer upon us, it is time to check that summer schedule, make a list of all your upcoming parties and celebrations, grab your money and get prepared for some great summer shopping fun.  Meet the Chamber at "Bottles and Cases" for the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce's new trend in “Buying Local” which is designed to support local businesses throughout Huntington.   The "Bottles and Cases" Cash Mob will take place at their store at 99 East Main Street, Huntington on Wednesday, June 27th from 6-8pm.    There will be free Wine & Spirit Tastings as well as appetizers to make this a great summer evening event.

The Cash Mob is a pro-active and practical means to support and strengthen local businesses.  The concept is simple - gather a group of people together to meet, have fun, network and shop at a local merchant.   Cash Mobs are beginning a trend throughout the country.  Locally, the Huntington Chamber's Cash Mob Programs have been collecting quite a following of committed Chamber members looking to support our local retailers.

“Buying Local has a profound economic impact within our local community," explained Patricia Grant, Chair of the Chamber’s Village Merchants Committee. “This innovative program stimulates the local economy and positively impacts our neighborhood merchants.  When you 'Buy Local' the money spent locally stays and circulates within the community. Part of the Chamber's mission is to support our local members and their businesses.  This program is one of the many ways that the Chamber fulfills that commitment."
