YMCA HOST ISLAND WIDE FOOD DRIVE

Come to your local Y to participate in the food drive!

The YMCA of Long Island is hosting a summer food drive
for Long Island Cares, Inc. throughout July at each of its branches. The Y will
encourage all campers, members and Long Islanders to bring in items for this
drive.

“We are trying to teach
our children about giving back to others,” said Executive Director of the YMCA
of Huntington Eileen Knauer. “This is a good fit for the Y and it really falls
into our mission of youth development and social responsibility.” 

The Y is committed to
strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social
responsibility. The Y is looking forward to partnering with Long Island Cares,
Inc for this food drive.
