The community is invited to join the Townwide Fund of Huntington at the Valentine’s Eve Red-Tie gala on Thursday, February 13th at Oheka Castle, for an elegant and magical evening of romance, dance and honoring people with big hearts.

The Townwide Fund gala will celebrate the accomplishments of:

  • Hon. Susan A. Berland, Town of Huntington
  • David Borg, Sr., Borg and Borg Insurance
  • John Bransfield, Advantage Title
  • Michael DeLuise, Melville Chamber of Commerce

  • Don Monti, Renaissance Downtowns
  • Steven M. Schanker, Esq., Schanker and Hochberg, P.C.
  • Vita Scaturro, Community National Bank, Huntington Chamber of Commerce and Townwide Fund of Huntington

The Valentine’s Eve fundraising gala will honor the men and women who have made significant contributions to our hometown of Huntington through their dedicated work and philanthropy. The fundraising event begins at 6:00 PM with a cocktail reception, followed by a full night of celebration that includes dance music, raffles and a chance to win a luxurious, romantic weekend at Oheka Castle.

Gala Chair Keith P. Brown, managing partner at Brown & Altman, LLP, extends an invitation to all who live, work, do business, or play in Huntington to take part in what promises to be a memorable night to raise funds for an important community organization.

“The Gala offers a great opportunity to show your support for the Townwide Fund’s mission by helping us raise funds for not-for-profit service agencies that focus on the health and well-being of Huntington residents,” said Brown.

The gala event is open to the public. Tickets are $200 per person or a table of ten for $2,000. Sponsorship packages are available at a variety of levels and donations for raffles are welcome.  For more information, visit www.townwidefund.org.

The Townwide Fund of Huntington was founded in 1961 by a group of private citizens who wanted to help local charities raise funds. The organization's essential mission was to keep money raised in Huntington within the community.  Now over 50 years and $10 million later, The Townwide Fund continues to infuse local organizations with the support they need to provide vital health and human services to the people of Huntington.
