Registration Open for Bus Trip to WAR/PHOTOGRAPHY Exhibit

Registration is now open for the Friday, January 24, 2014 bus trip to view the WAR/PHOTOGRAPHY: Images of Armed Conflict and Its Aftermath Exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum.

About the Exhibit:
Images of warfare and battles typically focus on the battle field, neglecting the larger story of what goes on before, during, and after the fighting. Houston Museum of Fine Arts curator Anne Tucker has put together a profoundly moving collection of images that reveals the “rest of the story” which is now on display at the Brooklyn Museum through February 2, 2014.

About the Trip:
The Cold Spring Harbor Library bus trip includes admission to the exhibit (free to veterans or active military), the Perspectives talk, and a catered lunch.  The trip fee is $78 for veterans or active military and $85 for the general public.  The Coach bus will leave the Cold Spring Harbor Library at 9:30am on Friday, January 24, 2014 and expects to return between 6 and 7pm.  (The snow date is Friday, January 31, 2014.) Registration by check payable to the Cold Spring Harbor Library is due on January 9.
