Headlining, The Security Project: Playing Peter Gabriel – reuniting former. band members of Peter Gabriel, Genesis, King Crimson, Lou Reed and Marillion, with opening act, John Ford of the Strawbs – have all the makings for one spectacular and memorable night!

The Security Project: Plays Peter Gabriel Bio: The timeless music of PETER GABRIEL has found new life through The Security Project. Featuring former members of: the Peter Gabriel Band, King Crimson, Marillion, and Lou Reed’s Band. Noted musicians also have given a thumbs up, including Tony Levin, Larry Fast (both from Gabriel’s band) Steve Hackett (Genesis), Jon Anderson (Yes), producer Tom Lord-Alge. Even the big man himself have all taken note of Security Project’s live shows, with Gabriel now a double-inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (both with Genesis as well as his solo career). The Security Project delivers the most adventurous music from Gabriel’s first five solo albums, including “Security” and culminating with “Plays Live.” Founding member Jerry Marotta says: “Peter was always great at setting the table for us as musicians; he always got us started with great ideas… As we were creating SECURITY, we had no idea we were making something so unique… I’m proud that with Security Project we’re able to deliver the deepest of those songs, and do it with real conviction, playing them live.” The live shows have included such gems as: “The Rhythm of the Heat”, “On The Air”, “San Jacinto”, “Here Comes the Flood,” “D.I.Y.”, “No Self Control” “I Have the Touch”, “Intruder”, “The Family & The Fishing Net”, “Wallflower”, along with the occasional classic from “The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway.”

John Ford of the Strawbs Bio: 
John Ford is the London-born guitarist from the prog-rock band The Strawbs. In 2009 Ford won Best Indie Rock Artist of the Year from the Progressive Rock Hall of Fame, and in 2010, was inducted with the other Strawbs members into the PRHoF. One of his producers was Tony Visconti, who also produced Badfinger and David Bowie (amongst others). Ford, is best known for having penned and sung award winning, chart toppers: Strawbs’ “Part of the Union” on Bursting At The Seams, and as founding member of The Monks’ for Bad Habits album with “Nice Legs Shame About The Face”– each earning Ford Gold and Double Platinum, plus Ford recently received a Double Platinum Record Award from EMI for The Monks’ Bad Habits. Ford’s rich musical history includes additional Gold and Platinum for The Monks’ Suspended Animation album, an Ivor Novello Award for “Part of the Union,” and as founding member with Hudson Ford band. John Ford, is also well known as a bass player – who’s influence with his unique percussive bass style gave the Strawbs (originally a Folk group), new definition into the electric Rock genre. John Ford has shared the bill at premiere venues and arenas on worldwide tours, with other legendary acts including Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa, The Eagles, Jefferson Starship, Ritchie Blackmore, Dave Mason, Billy Preston, Ian Lloyd of Stories, Blue Oyster Cult, T. Rex, Steppenwolf -- to name just a few. Ford went on to form his Solo Project after relocating to the US in the Eighties, also working and recording with Ritchie Blackmore and Candice Night in Blackmore’s Night in 1998-99. Ford’s recent appearances at FEB 2014 for BEATLES FAB 50 NYC at Town Hall, The Cutting Room in NYC. Ford’s 2014 album , No Talkin’ - all instrumental, Surf Rock style album, inspired on a wim by The Shadows and The Ventures with Ford on lead guitar throughout, is receiving critical acclaim. Preceded in 2012, by Resurrected, which has been met with accolades.
