Some of you may have heard his story already...Drew Birdsall attends school at the Huntington YMCA with my daughter Sofia. As he was about to celebrate his 3rd birthday, Drew was diagnosed with Leukemia ALL - B. His parents put everything aside to get him to St. Jude's Hospital in Memphis, making his treatment their priority. Drew's treatment is expected to last 3 years. The parents of Drew's preschool class are working together to host a fundraiser to help Drew and his family with their mounting expenses. Together, with your support, we believe we can make this a successful event benefiting one of our own families. So please save the date! Our fundraiser will be on Sunday, August 4th, at Mac's Steakhouse in Huntington, from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm. 100% of the $25 entry fee will go directly to the family. We are gathering great raffle prizes and baskets, and will also hold auctions. Join us for complimentary hors d'oeuvres and reduced price drinks...a great night out, all for an amazing cause! Together, we can show how a community can come together and make a difference.
