The Dollar-A-Day Boys: Documentary Portrait of the Civilian Conservation Corps
"Dollar-A-Day Boys" is a new 31-minute documentary about the Civilian Conservation Corps, a Depression-era program that gave over three million unemployed young men the chance to enroll in Army-run camps across the country and to do useful conservation work. The film comprises original interviews with CCC alumni, archival footage, and photos. It will be followed by a discussion with the filmmaker, Anthony DiFranco, whose father was a CCC veteran.
