Up and Coming Shutterfly: Free Exhibit of Local Award-Winning Photographer

Throughout December and January, The Book Revue will be holding an exclusive exhibit spanning the career highlights of local award-winning photographer Jennifer Maggio.

Maggio’s work has garnered international acclaim of late, most recently from the prestigious PX3, Prix de la Photographie Paris, an international competition judged by some of the world’s foremost experts, including Carol Johnson, Curator of Photography of Library of Congress, and Alice Gabriner, World Picture Editor of Time Magazine.

And earlier this year, Maggio’s work was featured in Dutch magazine FOAM, as well as featured on Bird Watcher's Digest online magazine and titled featured photographer on Outdoor Photographer's online magazine as well.  She has also won two honorable mentions for her work in New York and in France and nominated for three awards in Canada.

Maggio’s star is quickly rising, so come out to The Book Revue and view these treasures now before this Oakdale native becomes the industry’s next big thing. It’s a feast for the eyes, and a great atmosphere as well.

Usually cats stay within a few houses of home Sometimes they just hunker down under a neighbor'sRead More shed or deck. He is more likely to come to you at night when there aren't as many lawn mower sounds. Walk around with a can of the stinkiest cat food that you can find. Call to him, and listen for a response. He may answer you with soft meows. Make a trail of stinky cat food to your door and leave the can at the door overnight. Hang up signs with a photo in the neighborhood. Go door to door and tell neighbors to call you if they see him. Kids playing, and dog walkers might spot him. Once you have an idea, of where he is, you can use a have a heart trap to catch him, if he won't come to you. Some cats get so scared when they get out, that they don't recognize their humans. We have had cats disappear for months, before trapping them.
