Video: Legos on the Loose

Students compete in robot tournament.

Dozens of robots made of Legos were unleashed on SUNY Farmingdale over the weekend. Their mission was to help kids learn about science and technology.

Teams of local middle school and high schoolers built and programmed the robots using the iconic toys as part of the First Lego league Tournament on Saturday.

The event, sponsored by School-Business Partnerships of Long Island, Inc., gave kids a chance to show their creativity and technical savvy.
