Huntington started off the year buried in snow, felt the tremors of the August earthquake and then the wind and rain of Hurricane Irene.

In between, the town honored an injured Marine, decided the fate of AvalonBay and cheered its student athletes in a variety of sports. Here are a few of the top photos from throught the year.
