A win over Hauppauge secures return to Suffolk County basketball playoffs, which begin Tuesday, February 16. Going into Tuesday night's pivotal match with Hauppauge, the Huntington girls varsity basketball team had a chance to make the playoffs. Win, and they're in.

Crime Stoppers and the Suffolk County Police Second Squad Detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating the person(s) who stole and used a man's credit card. On December 31, 2009 unknown person(s) stole a credit card which was later used at several local CVS Stores. SCPD: Help Us Find These Alleged Credit Card Thieves

Nearly three dozen Blue Devil spring season coaches were appointed by the Huntington School Board at its January meeting. The spring season begins on the high school level on March 8 and kicks-off on the middle school level on March 29.
