Tell Us: Have You Finished Sandy Cleanup?

Five months later, some damage remains visible.

Five months later, you can drive around Huntington and still see signs of Superstorm Sandy. Some recently repaired roofs, with new shingles or new plywood, where a tree toppled over. Or mounds of debris hauled to the curb from backyards or wires hanging lower and looser than before the Oct. 29 storm.

Some of the odder-looking sights include chunks of wood left suspended in utility wires. Occasionally a house or a business still is missing some siding because of the storm or a tree remains split into grotesque shapes.

Have you finished cleaning up? Tell us in the comments.
