Photos: Frozen Hair, Slippery Roads

As the storm intensifies, highway crews are at work.

As snow began falling in Huntington Sunday morning, Huntington's highway department was busy filling sanders and dispersing crews and vehicles to sites around the town to prepare for clearing the roads.

The National Weather Service's latest blizzard warning for New York City and Long Island, as of 5:01 a.m., calls for 11-16 inches of snow, with higher amounts possible. The blizzard warning is in effect until Monday at 6 p.m.
