The Lindenhurst Rotary Club, Lindenhurst Interact and Camp Bulldog have joined forces to help Sandy homeowners get their properties ready for Summer under the project name Lindenhurst Beautification after Sandy. With the help of volunteers from across Long Island and as far away as New Hampshire, "crews" of volunteers have taken on the job of raking and bagging approximately 180 homes that had registered for the Beautification after Sandy project.

The film, starring Megan Fox, is being shot under the shooting title “Foursquare, according to the report.

School Superintendent Named as Highest Paid in U.S.

A report from Fox Business last week says that Rockville Centre School District Superintendent Dr. William Johnson is "likely the highest paid school superintendent in the country. According to a separate report from the Empire Center for New York State Policy, Johnson was paid $567,248 during the 2011-12 school, the highest salary of any school employee in New York State.
