The Long Island Rail Road is reducing Thursday morning rush hour service to Penn Station because of the weather.
On the Port Jefferson line, the 6:25 a.m. from Hicksville combines with the 6:15 a.m. from Huntington, arriving at Hicksville at 6:33 AM, making stops at Carle Place, Merillon Avenue, New Hyde Park and Penn.
The 8:55 a.m. from Huntington combines with the 8:34 a.m. from Port Jefferson, making all stops including Westbury, Carle Place, Merillon Avenue, New Hyde Park, Kew Gardens, Forest Hills, Woodside and New York.

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority said it was canceling 14 of the 143 westbound morning rush trains.
