Toys For Tots Party in South Huntington

For the 14th consecutive year, the Very Merry Kraesemas Party helped to make Christmas a little brighter for dozens of area kids.

A drop off point for the U.S. Marine Corps annual Toys for Tots program and non-perishable goods, the event took place Saturday at 9 Liberty Street in South Huntington.

Personnel from the Huntington Manor Fire Department were on hand with decorated fire trucks, lights and a new trailer for the event.

Characters including Sponge Bob, the Grinch, Blue Clues, Tigger, Woody, the Green Lantern, Big Bird and Santa helped to make the event a success.
