Groups Respond to Triple Shooting in Huntington Station

Latin Quarter organization plans peace march, civic group to hear from police commander.

At least two organizations are mobilizing in response to Sunday's triple shooting in Huntington Station.

The Greater Huntington Civic Group will host Suffolk County Police Second Precinct commander Insp. Edward Brady Thursday at 7 p.m. at the VFW Nathan Hale post on West Pulaski Road. Brady is "invited to answer questions on crime, gang violence and the relationship our town leaders have with the local authorities," the organization said.

The march will proceed to the organization's headquarters at 1399 New York Avenue and then on to Manor Field. Community residents are invited to participate.
