Rites for Huntington Officer Killed in Crash

Suffolk County Police officer died in Commack collision with truck.

Suffolk County Police officer Patrick Curley was buried Tuesday after a service in Glen Cove. The Huntington resident was killed last week when his SUV struck a garbage truck in Commack.

He was off duty at the time of the accident.

Officers from the Suffolk and Glen Cove police departments were among those who turned out for the service at St. Patrick's Church. Curley was a native of Glen Cove.
