Five Things Going on This Week

Ryan O'Neal, George Clinton coming to Huntington.

1. Ryan O'Neal: Academy Award-nominated actor and author Ryan O'Neal will sign his memoir "Both of Us: My Life with Farrah," Tuesday at the Book Revue at 7 p.m.

2. Meet The Candidates: The Huntington PTA Council will sponsor a Meet the School Board Candidates Night on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the J. Taylor Finley Middle School. The Suffolk Region PTA will moderate the event. Members of the audience will submit questions to the candidates. The event is open to the epublic.

3. Small Business Resource Seminar: Councilman Mark Mayoka, The Huntington Small Business Resource and Recovery Center and Long Island Development Corporation will present $how Me The Money at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Town Hall. The free seminar will focus on bank loans, micro loans, state targeted loans and alternate finacing for small businesses.

4. A Taste Of The Town: Presented by the The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians Huntington Division 4 on Thursday at Appliance World in Huntington, the event features chefs from Fado, Vitae, Mr. Sausage, Finnegan's and Fiorello Dolce from Huntington along with Jellyfish of Centerport, Nisen of Woodbury and Kim's Kandies. Also included in the $50 admission, wine and chocolate pairing, live music, and raffles. Proceeds benefit abused women and children.  

5. George Clinton And Parliament Funkdelic: Paramount Theater show Saturday at 8.p.m.
