Bands competed Saturday in a battle of the bands at Heckscher Park.
Performers from Half Hollow Hills schools won the top three priDzes.
The event was organized by the Huntington Youth Council.
The first-prize winner was Lisa Diasparra, while second place went to Handsom and third to the B-Tones. Diasparra and the B-Tones a capella group are from Half Hollow Hills East; Handsom is from Half Hollow Hills West.
Councilwoman Susan A. Berland handed out raffle prizes, which were donated by several Huntington merchants, and praised the musicians' performance.
