5 things you need to know know today.

1. Whitman vs. Huntington: Multi-team football at Huntington High School Wednesday at 5 p.m.

2. Library Internet: As of yesterday, the Internet remains out at the Huntington Public Library, although the electricity has been fully restored. Check with the library today before heading over there if you want to use their service.

3. Lost Dog: A white female Shih Tzu named Mimi, with a collar and tag, was last seen Aug. at approx. 9:30 p.m. on Dunlop Rd. off Park Avenue in Huntington. If seen, contact Christina at 631-487-0072 or 631-673-8683.

4. Pub Crawl: No Power at your house? Get out and enjoy the beautiful weather at a pub crawl historic tour, starting at the Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Building, located at 228 Main Street, at 6:30 p.m. The group will stop at three pubs all of which play a role in Huntington’s history. Sponsored by the Young Professionals Committee and the Huntington Historical Society.

5. Casting Call: Start learning those lines now for Thursday's  for boys and girls ages 7-17 for a production of "Mulan" at Dream Makers Performing Arts School in East Northport.
