1. Town Zoning Board: The Town of Huntington Zoning Board of Appeals t at Town Hall at 6 p.m. (Correction: Meeting is Sept. 8)

Volunteers Needed: Family Service League's Ombudsman Program is seeking volunteers to train as advocates for nursing home, adult care home and family-type home residents.  Volunteers visit residents once a week to help them understand and exercise their rights to quality care and quality of life.
