: An East Farmingdale thoroughfare will be reconstructed in 2012 to ease traffic and increase safety, said Suffolk County Legis. Lou D’Amaro, D- North Babylon. Pinelawn Road, which runs from Lindenhurst up to Huntington, is one of the most heavily traveled roads between the towns of Babylon and Huntington, according to the legislator. The project was approved at the Suffolk County Legislature's Dec. 20 meeting and will be funded 80 percent by federal funds and 20 percent by the county’s Capital Program meant for infrastructure projects like this.
