Lupinacci joins South Huntington Educational Foundation to Honor Ray Spatafora
Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,WF,I-Huntington Station) recently joined the South Huntington Educational Foundation to honor Ray Spatafora for his hard work, dedication and tremendous support of the Huntington community. Ray is a 1973 graduate of Walt Whitman High School and now serves as the school’s supervisor of security.
“Ray’s dedication and service to the Huntington community knows no bounds. Not only is he involved with the school, but he is also a lifetime member of the Huntington Manor Fire Department, where he currently serves as a fire commissioner and has been a mentor with the Tri-CYA Youth Agency Teen Center,” said Lupinacci. “During my time with the South Huntington School Board, I had the opportunity to work closely with Ray and see his tremendous enthusiasm for his work. I want to thank him for all he’s done and all he continues to do.”
Along with his work at the Walt Whitman High School, Spatafora is a mentor with the EXCEL, and spent 32 years as a supervisor with the Town of Huntington HART bus system. He also serves as a local representative for Suffolk County Legislator Lou D’Amaro.
