LUPINACCI HONORED AS DISTINGUISHED ALUMNUS OF HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW

Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,WF,I-Huntington Station) was recently honored as a distinguished alum by the Public Justice Foundation at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. Lupinacci, a 2004 Hofstra Law School graduate, was honored with his colleagues, Assemblyman David Weprin, class of 1980, Assemblyman Tom McKevitt, class of 1996, Assemblyman Steven Otis, class of 1985, Assemblyman Luis Sepulveda, class of 1991, and Assemblyman Andrew Garbarino, class of 2009, for personal and professional achievements in public service.

 

“Hofstra University’s School of Law has left a deep impact on my life and helped shape the way I legislate,” said Lupinacci. “It is truly an honor to be recognized with such a distinguished group of alumni. The Public Justice Foundation is a great asset for students who wish to make an impact on their community by serving the public during law school.”

The Public Justice Foundation (PJF) raises money to provide financial support to law students who devote their time and legal skills to public interest organizations over the summer. The students take part in unpaid summer internships in the public sector, which they otherwise would be unable to accept due to monetary constraints.
