Lupinacci Discusses State Government with Huntignton High School Students

Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,WF,I-Huntington Station) recently spoke to students in the 12th grade Participation in Government classes at Huntington High School. Lupinacci addressed how the state Assembly impacts students’ lives each day, and how each level of government interacts.

“The students at Huntington High School were tremendously well-versed in state government and it was a true pleasure to speak with them. Many young people don’t realize the active role which state government plays in their day-to-day lives,” said Lupinacci. “While our young people know about the hot-topics in national politics, instilling a sense of civic involvement is tremendously important. The students had insightful questions and demonstrated immense knowledge of the world around them. I would also like to thank the teachers, Ms. Mellon, Mr. Leavy, Ms. Tedeschi, and Mr. Bruckbauer for allowing me to speak to their classes.”
