Lupinacci Discusses Legislation with Members of the Hispanic Youth Task Force
Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,WF,I-Huntington Station) was recently visited by members of Walt Whitman High School’s Hispanic Youth Task Force in his district office. Lupinacci discussed several pieces of legislation with the students designed to better their community, and also helped prepare them for a mock legislative session held in the New York State Assembly chambers.
“It was a great pleasure to meet with these exceptional students and help them to gain a better understanding of how our state government works. Through their participation and interest in our state’s legislative process, they have proven themselves to be true leaders among their peers,” said Lupinacci. “I enjoyed listening to the local and global issues that they find most interesting and appreciated all their valuable input. I have no doubt that they will continue to work hard in order to make positive changes in their community.”
