Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,WF,I-Huntington Station) recently joined members of Girl Scout troops 2210 and 1468 to celebrate the girls’ receptions of their Gold and Silver awards. The Girl Scout’s Gold Award is the highest award for girls in grades 9-12; while the Silver Award is the highest award for girls in grades 6-8.
“These young women are leaders in their schools and communities. Their achievement recognizes the important work they’ve taken part in as they’ve grown in this role,” said Lupinacci. “These outstanding young women have also demonstrated their focus and confidence as team players. As Gold and Silver Award Winners, they’ve set themselves on a stage for a lifetime of achievement.
