FLAG DAY CELEBRATION HONORS SYMBOL OF AMERICA

Assemblyman Chad Lupinacci (R,C,WF,I-Huntington Station) recently joined the Huntington Elks Lodge No. 1565, local veterans and members of local Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops for a Flag Retirement Ceremony. The ceremony was part of the Flag Day festivities on June 15.

“The flag is a symbol of our nation and all that has gone into making our country the great place it is today,” said Lupinacci. “The ceremony was an excellent opportunity to honor this great symbol and provide a proper retirement for damaged flags. I was tremendously honored to join our veterans and the local scouts to participate in this mission and observe this special holiday.”
